Mulan is the story of a girl in China who disguises herself as a boy so she can join the army in her sick father's place.
Characters
Mulan--a strong-willed girl and soldier. She hates the fact that her father is willing to go into the army, where he will most likely be killed, just to uphold the family honor. She goes in his place, risking death for treason. She has some trouble acting like a man, but she makes some very good friends before her secret is revealed.
Mushu--a small dragon who is one of the Fa family guardians. He causes more problems than he fixes, but he's very loyal and quite wisecracking.
